Their warehouse stocks between 80,000 and 120,000 products, catering to customers in North Baden, Anterior Palatinate, and South Hesse.
To enhance goods transport between warehouse levels, Wacker+Döbler partnered with GEBHARDT. This collaboration led to the implementation of three ConVer® goods lifts, allowing the seamless transport of up to 100,000 different items directly from the central warehouse to the shop.

Optimising Shipping for Efficiency and Cost Savings
After relocating to its new headquarters in 2012, Wacker+Döbler needed efficient solutions to supply its main branch in Sinsheim and streamline order picking. The company chose ConVer® goods lifts from GEBHARDT Fördertechnik to meet these needs. The solution included two ConVer® 147 lifts, which allow a trained person to accompany the goods, and one ConVer® 146. These lifts are essential for the fast transport of spare parts stored across three levels, enabling up to four dispatches per day.
The lifts are designed to handle bulky parts, with a capacity to carry up to 1,200 kg and a load height of 2,000 mm. Operating at speeds of up to 0.2 m/s, each lift runs up to 100 times a day, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods between the warehouse and the shop.
Seamlessly Integrated and Visually Appealing
The two ConVer® 147 lifts are integrated directly into the shop, enabling seamless transport of goods from the warehouse into the store. This minimises transit time and enhances operational efficiency. Additionally, the lifts have been visually integrated into the shop’s interior, maintaining both functionality and a clean aesthetic.
Thanks to the ConVer® lifts, Wacker+Döbler can now efficiently pick and ship goods at a faster rate. These high-performance lifts provide a reliable, efficient solution that supports the company’s growth and improves overall logistics.
