What is warehouse sorting?
Warehouse sorting - often referred to as warehouse sortation - is a core process in modern logistics operations. It involves identifying, routing and directing goods to their correct destination within a warehouse or distribution centre.

Scalable Sorting at flaconi
We implemented a packet conveying and sorting system for online beauty retailer flaconi. The highlight of the new logistics centre is the GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop. It organises goods using a warehouse control system (WCS) and PLC control. We installed the new system within just nine months.
Thanks to our help flaconi can now efficiently and flexibly manage customer orders across a 28,000m² facility. The GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop is also designed to be flexible so that flaconi can scale operations in the future.
