GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop
Fully Automatic Horizontal Crossbelt Sorter
The GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop takes the efficiency and performance of your internal sorting processes to a whole new level. The GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop is a high-performance sorting system and transports up to 16,500 conveyance goods per hour, depending on the goods to be sorted and the carrier size.
The Concept
The GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop, which was developed according to the crossbelt sorter principle, allows you to have a continuous material flow concept from a single source by combining different processes, such as incoming goods, storage, order picking and dispatch. Implementing the solution in your system offers major economic advantages, since both the internal flow of materials can be optimised and the available space can be effectively utilised. In line with the motto "mechanical meets digital", the reliability of your new sorting system is ensured through condition monitoring and the corresponding connection to our digital solutions.

Mechanical meets Digital
The GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop combines the best of both worlds and was developed according to the motto "Mechanical meets Digital". The robust and mechanical drive as well as the purely mechanical ejection principle are enhanced by digital functions to ensure high system availability and significantly reduce maintenance requirements.
Application Example of the SpeedSorter® loop
The mechanically driven GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop sorts up to 16,500 conveyance goods per hour at a speed of 2.0 m/s. This sorter allows you to sort a wide range of products, from clothing and postal items to multimedia products and packaged foodstuffs. Containers, packets, polybags (shipments wrapped in foil) and paper bags of various shapes with dimensions ranging from 100 to 600 millimetres and a weight of 100 grams to 35 kilograms can be transported. By using two carriers (double formers) for one conveyance good, even longer unit loads up to a maximum of 1,200 mm can be sorted.
High-performance sorting systems are ideal for logistics centres in the CEP sector. Due to the booming online trade / e-commerce, both the worldwide packet volume and the purchasing behaviour as well as the customers' expectations (e.g. same-day delivery) have considerably increased over the past years.
GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop at flaconi
In autumn 2020, GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group received an order to implement packet conveying and sorting at the online beauty pure player flaconi. The highlight of the new logistics centre is the connection of the new GEBHARDT SpeedSorter® loop to the warehouse control system, including the PLC control. In just nine months, the fast-growing retailer can now flexibly and quickly respond to customer-related orders on an area covering 28,000m2 at the Halle location.
