Highly flexible and scalable shuttle system

The GEBHARDT StoreBiter^® OLS is a shuttle system for the most demanding of performance requirements. Various load handling devices (LHD) make the StoreBiter^® OLS highly flexible in single or multi-deep storage of containers, trays and cardboard boxes of various sizes. The shuttle system is perfect for implementing the Goods-to-Person principle, especially in combination with SimplePick picking stations. By using a shuttle storage system, you save space that can be used elsewhere. The modular design of the OLS system enables individual adaptation to suit your requirements.

GEBHARDT StoreBiter® OLS E – Maximum Energy Efficiency Through Double-layer Capacitor

In contrast to the other OLS shuttles, the energy supply of the OLS E shuttles is primarily provided by a double-layer capacitor located on the shuttle. The OLS E runs without a conductor rail and is therefore particularly suitable if you want to install many levels in your warehouse but only a few shuttles (roaming). The double-layer capacitor can be charged at charging points (charging stations) within the aisle or on the lift. The charging time is extremely short, so that the availability of the shuttle remains high. To reduce energy consumption in the event of the shuttle coming to a standstill, an energy-saving module is installed which puts the shuttle into a sleep mode.

Standard Systems for the GEBHARDT StoreBiter® OLS

Standard System | Roaming

Roaming is the term used to describe partially occupied shuttle warehouses that have fewer OLS than storage levels. To ensure that all levels can be reached, however, a shuttle lifter is used at the front of the rack, which moves the OLS between the individual storage levels as required. For storage and retrieval, the shuttle moves to the lowest storage level, to which the storage and retrieval lanes are connected. There is at least one shuttle per storage aisle.

Standard System | Roaming+

The Roaming+ concept supplements the roaming concept with two container lifts, each with one or more buffer spaces. These enable storage and retrieval at any storage level. One container lift is responsible for storage and the other for retrieval of goods. This means that the shuttle lift is only responsible for changing the shuttles between the storage levels.

Standard System | Captive

Captive stands for a fully equipped shuttle warehouse, so it satisfies the highest of performance requirements. Every storage level has its own OLS. There is no system-based option for moving the shuttle to a different level (only in maintenance cases). Storage and retrieval are performed by two container lifts with transfer and buffer areas on each storage level. No shuttle lifts are required for a fully equipped system.
