DIEFFENBACHER worked with GEBHARDT to redesign its small parts warehouse and move from a person-to-goods process to a goods-to-person system. The solution combines a shuttle warehouse, conveyor technology, four integrated picking workstations and GEBHARDT StoreWare warehouse management software.
With up to 220 storage and retrieval operations per hour and full SAP integration, the system shows how automation and intelligent warehouse logistics software can work together to improve goods receipt, order picking and material flow.
